| Vattar Media will organize the 55th National Weight Lifting Championship 2008, to be held from 14-16 March at the WAPDA Sports Complex Lahore. The contract signing ceremony was held at the Vattar Media office between the General Secretary of Pakistan Weight Lifting Federation Mr. Hafiz Imran Butt and Mr. Nabeel Amin Chief Executive Vattar Media. Mr. Hafiz Imran Butt and his team visited the different departments of Vattar Media and were introduced to the staff. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Hafiz Imran Butt praised the efforts of Vattar Media in promoting sports activities in Pakistan and hoped that more Federations would render the services of Vattar Media in organizing their events. Project Manager Raza Ali gave a presentation to the Federation members on the Play for Peace project which is being organized by Vattar Media. Mr. Hafiz Imran Butt extended his full support for the project and announced that his Federation would contribute to make this project a success. 4 provinces, 1 Capital and 5 Departments would participate in the 55th National Weight Lifting Championship which would have 8 weight categories. |
