Vattar Media will organize a Peace Painting Exhibition and Peace Conference. The Peace Painting Exhibition will take place in Pakistan, Kuwait and Russia while the Peace conference will be held at Lahore. The Peace Exhibition is the work of art of the school going children who have contributed to the propagation of peace through their art. This exhibition will be held at Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta, Kuwait and Saint Petersburg Russia. Over 200 paintings on Peace, this would be a message from the children of Pakistan that the people want peace all over the world.

The Peace Conference would be a speech contest among the school children on the topic of Peace. This conference will be held at the Awan-E-Iqbal Lahore in August.

Pakistan is crossing through the most turbulent times in its history. Pakistan’s border is surrounded by a country that is at war, a country that has a hostile border and a country that is in danger of war. Pakistan itself is faced with the dangers of terrorism and chaos since many years now which is directly affecting the people of all ages. This effect has shown that the people of Pakistan are all the more together and stand united. With the foreign media always propagating negative and unrealistic stories about Pakistan and its people, the children of Pakistan have stood up to prove them all wrong. With images of bloodshed and terrorist activities being seen on regular basis, these children have united themselves in rejecting the notion that Pakistan is a failed or a terrorist state.

No words are more powerful than of a child in proclaiming that Pakistan is a hospitable, loving and peaceful country and that is what they want their future to be. The children wish to send this message with their art. Pakistan is the land of our children, who will lead it in the future.

Play for Peace in collaboration with different schools of Pakistan will hold a Peace Exhibition in all the capital cities of the four Provinces, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta and the capital of Pakistan Islamabad before moving to Kuwait and Russia. This exhibition will be one of its kind as all the paintings will be done by school children projecting Peace.

There are over 200 paintings done by the children of school going age and will give out a message to the present leaders world over what the future leaders want of them. These paintings will not only project the dire need of the Pakistani people to their fellow countrymen but also send a message to all the people worldwide that Pakistan is a peace loving country and wants peace not only in Pakistan, but the world over.

All schools would be invited to bring their children to view the exhibition so that the students can see how their friends and their age group students have contributed in the promotion of Peace and motivate them that they too should do the same. The elders of the country would also get a glimpse of what the children want from them. How do they perceive their future and what should they do to make their future peaceful and full of life.

Structure of PFPE

The Play for Peace Exhibition will be held to promote peace and brotherhood among the people of the world and would be a message from the children of Pakistan.

The structure of the event would be as under:

The Exhibition

There will be an exhibition of over 200 paintings all done by school children on Peace. These paintings would be professionally mounted and displayed for the spectators to view at different exhibition halls in Pakistan and abroad.

Each painting would have a description of the artist, his age and the school he belongs along with his views on Peace. There would be special booklet on the occasion which would display all these information for the spectators. These booklets would be distributed to them once they enter the hall.

Since our main focus would be the children, all schools of the respective cities would be invited to view this exhibition where they would be guided by our representatives giving them information on each painting.

The Peace Conference

This will be a conference of the youth on Peace and will take place at Iqbal Auditorium Lahore. This conference will be attended by school children, wherein they will get to hear their fellow age groups talk on the topic of peace. The conference will be also attended by the representatives of our society so that they can later convey the message to other political factors about what the youth thinks on Peace.

The Award ceremony

The ceremony would be held to award the children for their outstanding contribution towards the cause of Peace. Children would be awarded for their painting skills and their debate powers. These children would be awarded with prizes and the school that wins the most prizes would be awarded with the “School Of The Year” award and would be helped in upgrading its sports infrastructure.
